This legacy E-Frame breaker is designed for bolt-on installation in older Siemens and I-T-E commercial panelboards, such as the FC-1 series, as well as FC-20 switchboards. It is not compatible with standard residential load centers.
What is the modern replacement for the legacy EF3B100?
The EF3B100 is an older E-Frame model. When retrofitting or upgrading an enclosure rather than maintaining it with an exact match, the modern Siemens substitute is typically the ED63B100.
What type of protection does the LI trip function provide?
The LI code indicates a thermal-magnetic trip unit that delivers Long-Time (L) protection for gradual overloads and Instantaneous (I) protection for severe short circuits. Both the thermal and magnetic trip points are fixed on this frame.
How is the EF3B100 installed into the electrical system?
This is a bolt-on circuit breaker that fastens directly to the panelboard bus on the line side. The load side features mechanical lugs that accept 10 AWG to 1/0 AWG copper or aluminum conductors.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
