This bolt-on breaker is designed to mount directly into Siemens P1, P2, P3, P4, and P5 commercial panelboards.
Can I install this breaker in a standard Siemens residential load center?
No. The HGB2B050B is a bolt-on commercial breaker designed for P-series panelboards. It will not fit in residential load centers that require plug-on QP or QT style breakers.
What are the acceptable wire sizes for the HGB2B050B lugs?
The factory-installed lugs accept 8 to 1/0 AWG copper conductors or 8 to 2/0 AWG aluminum conductors.
What is the difference between Siemens NGB, HGB, and LGB breakers?
These breakers share the same physical GB frame footprint for Siemens panelboards but offer different interrupting ratings. The HGB is the high-interrupting version, whereas the NGB is the standard-interrupting version and the LGB provides even higher interrupting capacities.
What is the modern replacement for the HGB2B050B?
Siemens is transitioning legacy GB frames to the new 3VA series. The direct replacement is the 3VA5150-5ED22-0AA0, which requires a separate mounting kit for installation in existing panelboards.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
