No, the HOM115PDF connects directly to the panel's neutral bar and is only compatible with Homeline Plug-On Neutral load centers. For older Homeline panels without this feature, you must use the pigtail version, catalog number HOM115DF.
Are Square D Homeline circuit breakers interchangeable with QO circuit breakers?
No. Homeline breakers feature a 1-inch per pole format and are not compatible with QO load centers. You must use a QO115PDF for Square D QO panels.
What types of faults does this Dual Function breaker protect against?
The HOM115PDF provides both Combination Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (CAFI) and Class A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protection, safeguarding the circuit against arcing faults, ground faults, overloads, and short circuits.
How does the TIME-SAVER Diagnostics feature work on this Homeline breaker?
To use TIME-SAVER Diagnostics, turn the breaker off, hold down the Push-To-Test button, and turn the breaker back on. If it trips immediately, it indicates a ground fault. A 2-second delay indicates an arc fault, and a 5-second delay indicates a thermal overload or short circuit.
What are the wiring benefits of using the Plug-On Neutral design?
The Plug-On Neutral design eliminates the need to route and terminate a separate pigtail wire. This reduces installation time, requires fewer connections, and frees up gutter space within the load center.
Can I use the HOM115PDF on a multi-wire branch circuit with a shared neutral?
No. Single-pole dual function circuit breakers require a dedicated neutral for the circuit to function correctly. Sharing a neutral on a multi-wire branch circuit will cause the GFCI protection to trip immediately.
Is the HOM115PDFC the same as the HOM115PDF?
Yes, the HOM115PDFC is the exact same 15A dual function circuit breaker. The C suffix simply indicates that the breaker is packaged in consumer retail clamshell packaging.

Expedited Shipments

I needed a specific breaker that has a large opening for the wiring. The photos were deceiving and showed what looked like the large opening I need for where the wires go. However, I received the breaker and the opening is the exact same and 2 other breakers I purchased from Home Depot and from Menards. Now I spent another $35 on a breaker I can’t even use. Shopping is outrageously priced, and I tried to return and I literally will have to PAY THEM to return this item. I’m very upset.
