No. The EHB34020-1082 is a legacy breaker designed specifically for older Square D NEHB panelboards. Newer NF panelboards require EDB series breakers, and the two designs are not interchangeable.
What does the -1082 suffix mean on the EHB34020-1082?
The -1082 suffix indicates that this circuit breaker is factory equipped with a 120VAC shunt trip accessory. This allows the breaker to be opened remotely via a control signal.
How much panel space does the EHB34020-1082 require?
Because it is equipped with a factory installed shunt trip accessory, this 3-pole breaker requires four pole spaces in your NEHB panelboard. Standard EHB breakers require one pole space per phase, but the accessory adds an extra pole space requirement.
Can the EHB34020-1082 be used on a 480V ungrounded delta system?
No. This breaker carries a 480Y/277V slash rating, meaning it is only suitable for solidly grounded wye systems where the voltage to ground does not exceed 277V. It cannot be used on ungrounded or corner-grounded 480V delta systems.
What temperature rating is required for the conductors connected to this 20A breaker?
The EHB34020-1082 is suitable for use with wire insulated for 60 degrees C or 75 degrees C. Ensure your copper or aluminum conductors are sized appropriately for these temperature ratings.

Expedited Shipments
