No. The EJB14020 is an E-Frame circuit breaker designed exclusively for use in Square D NF panelboards. It will not physically fit in QO, NQ, or I-Line panelboards.
What is the recommended terminal tightening torque for the EJB14020?
The terminal lugs should be tightened to 30.09 lb-in (3.4 N.m) for both copper and aluminum wire sizes from 14 AWG to 6 AWG.
Does the EJB14020 feature a visual trip indicator?
Yes. It includes the Visi-Trip indicator, which provides a highly visible red flag when the breaker trips. This mechanical feature makes it significantly easier to quickly locate a faulted circuit in a busy panelboard.
Can the EJB14020 be used for switching fluorescent lighting loads?
Yes. This breaker is SWD (Switching Duty) rated, meaning it is certified to safely switch 120V and 277V fluorescent lighting circuits on and off on a regular basis.

All three are 1-pole, 20A E-Frame breakers that mount in NF panelboards. They differ solely in their interrupting capacities (AIC ratings). The EJB series provides the highest short-circuit protection, while the EDB offers standard tier ratings and the EGB provides intermediate ratings.
Is the EJB14020 rated for High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting?
Yes. It carries an HID rating, meaning it is designed to safely handle the high inrush currents that occur when powering up High Intensity Discharge lighting fixtures.
Can I field-install a shunt trip or auxiliary switch on the EJB14020?
No. Electrical accessories like shunt trips, auxiliary switches, and alarm switches for Square D E-Frame circuit breakers must be factory-installed. You must order a breaker with the appropriate factory suffix if you require these internal accessories.
Can the EJB14020 be backfed in a panelboard?
Yes. Square D E-Frame circuit breakers can be backfed for applications such as solar power interconnection. Please note that while they accept AC backfeeding, they are not DC rated.

Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
