This bolt-on breaker is designed exclusively for use in Square D NF series panelboards.
Can I use the EJB36020 to replace an EDB36020 or EGB36020?
Yes. The EJB36020 shares the same physical dimensions and mounting as the EDB36020 and EGB36020, but offers a higher interrupting rating (65kAIC at 480Y/277VAC). It is a safe, direct upgrade for those lower-rated breakers in NF panelboards.
What wire sizes and materials are accepted by the lugs on the EJB36020?
The factory lugs accept 14 to 6 AWG copper (Cu) wire, or 12 to 6 AWG aluminum (Al) wire.
What does the J in the EJB36020 part number signify?
In Square D E-frame nomenclature, the J indicates the interrupting rating level. EJB breakers are rated for 65kAIC at 480Y/277VAC, which is higher than the standard EDB (18kAIC) and EGB (35kAIC) models.
Does the EJB36020 plug into the panel or bolt on?

Expedited Shipments
