The FAL34020G is a legacy F-Frame circuit breaker. For modern panel upgrades, it crosses over to the Square D HDL36020, which is part of the newer PowerPact series.
What does the G suffix mean in the FAL34020G part number?
The G suffix indicates that the circuit breaker includes a factory-installed ground fault shunt trip. This allows it to interface with a Square D Micrologic ground fault module, such as the GFM100FA, for specialized equipment protection.
What types of equipment are compatible with the FAL34020G breaker?
This unit-mount circuit breaker is designed for installation in compatible Square D enclosures, switchboards, and panelboards that accept legacy F-Frame breakers. It is not compatible with I-Line panelboards.
