Yes. Pigtail neutral breakers can be installed in plug-on neutral Homeline panels. The coiled white pigtail wire simply bypasses the plug-on neutral bus and connects directly to the standard neutral bar.
Will the HOM220GFI fit in a Square D QO load center?
No. Homeline (HOM) circuit breakers are designed exclusively for Homeline load centers. They feature a different physical mounting profile and are incompatible with QO series panels.
What level of ground fault protection does this breaker offer?
This unit provides Class A ground fault protection for personnel safety. The internal circuitry is calibrated to trip when it detects a ground fault current of 6 milliamperes or greater.
Can I use this 2-pole GFCI to protect a multi-wire branch circuit?
Yes. A 2-pole GFCI breaker is required when protecting a 120/240V multi-wire branch circuit (MWBC). It correctly monitors the shared neutral for both hot legs to maintain protection and prevent nuisance tripping.
Do I need to connect the neutral pigtail if I am only powering a straight 240V load?
Yes. The white pigtail wire must be connected to the panel neutral bar to power the internal GFCI sensing electronics, even if your 240V equipment does not utilize a load neutral wire.
What is the difference between part numbers HOM220GFI and HOM220GFIC?
Both part numbers represent the exact same 20-amp 2-pole GFCI breaker. The C suffix simply denotes that the item is packaged in retail clamshell packaging rather than standard wholesale packaging.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
