Engineered for remote shutdown capabilities, the Square D EGB24030SA features a factory-installed 120VAC shunt trip alongside standard thermal-magnetic protection. This two-pole, 30-amp breaker delivers a 35 kAIC rating at 480Y/277VAC, making it ideal for emergency power-off systems. The E-Frame device bolts securely into Square D NF panelboards. It serves as a substitute for the EJB24030SA. In addition to remote tripping, the breaker includes a Visi-Trip indicator and is HACR and HID rated.Specifications

This bolt-on E-Frame breaker is designed specifically for installation in Square D NF series panelboards. It is not compatible with NQ or I-Line panels.
What does the SA suffix mean on the EGB24030SA catalog number?
The SA suffix indicates the breaker comes with a factory-installed 120VAC shunt trip. This allows the breaker to be tripped remotely for emergency power-off (EPO) or automated control applications.
Does the EGB24030SA require extra panel space for the shunt trip?
Yes. The factory-installed shunt trip requires one additional pole space. As a result, this 2-pole breaker will occupy three pole spaces in your NF panelboard.
Can I install or replace the shunt trip on an E-Frame breaker in the field?
No. Electrical accessories for Square D E-Frame breakers, including the shunt trip on the EGB24030SA, are factory-installed only and cannot be added or modified in the field.
