Can I install the FAL34030-1021 in a Square D I-Line panelboard?
No. This is a unit-mount breaker designed to be hardwired into standard enclosures, switchboards, and motor control centers. It lacks the plug-on jaw connections required for I-Line distribution panels.
What is the modern replacement for the legacy FAL34030-1021?
The FAL series is a legacy F-Frame breaker. For modern panel upgrades, it is typically replaced by the PowerPact H-Frame HDL34030. If you migrate to the PowerPact series, you will need to add a compatible shunt trip accessory to replicate the -1021 functionality.
Are the line and load lugs included with this breaker?
Yes, this feed-thru breaker comes standard with lugs on both the line and load sides. The terminals accept 14 to 4 AWG copper or 12 to 4 AWG aluminum conductors.
Are the thermal and magnetic trip settings adjustable on this breaker?
