6 answersIs the BJA260601 a direct replacement for older FA or FH circuit breakers?
Yes. Schneider Electric designed the PowerPacT B-frame as the direct upgrade for legacy F-frame breakers. It maintains the exact same mounting footprint, allowing it to seamlessly replace obsolete 2-pole FA and FH breakers in existing I-Line panelboards.
Does this breaker require field-installed lugs on the load side?
No. The breaker comes with factory-installed mechanical lugs on the load side. These standard lugs accept both aluminum and copper conductors ranging from 14 AWG to 2/0 AWG.
How does the I-Line mounting style connect to the panelboard?
The line side of the breaker features a plug-on jaw assembly that clips directly onto the I-Line panelboard bus. This design eliminates the need to manually torque line-side cables, significantly speeding up the installation process.
Can this I-Line breaker be installed in QO or NQ panelboards?
No. This breaker features a proprietary plug-on connection designed exclusively for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It is not compatible with standard load centers or NQ, NF, and QO series panels.
What type of electrical faults does the LI trip unit protect against?
The thermal-magnetic trip unit features fixed Long-Time (L) and Instantaneous (I) sensing elements. The thermal element prevents damage from sustained overcurrent overloads, while the magnetic element rapidly clears high-current short circuits.
Can I use this 2-pole circuit breaker on a direct current (DC) system?
Yes. In addition to alternating current applications, the BJA260601 is fully rated for DC power systems. It provides up to 50kA of interrupting capacity at 250VDC.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
