The EJB14060 is engineered exclusively for Square D NF panelboards. As a 1-pole breaker, it requires a single space on the panel bus.
Can the EJB14060 replace an EDB14060 or EGB14060?
Yes. The EJB14060 shares the exact physical dimensions and bolt-on mounting configuration as the EDB14060 and EGB14060. It serves as a direct replacement, providing the highest interrupting rating in the E-frame family (65kA at 277V) for systems requiring increased fault protection.
What are the lug torque specifications for the EJB14060?
The required tightening torque depends on the conductor size. Apply 34.5 lb-in for 14 to 10 AWG wire, and 49.6 lb-in for 8 to 2/0 AWG wire.
Can the EJB14060 be backfed in solar installations?
Yes, Square D E-frame circuit breakers are suitable for AC backfeed applications, such as solar grid-tie systems. Note that these breakers are not DC rated.
Does the EJB14060 include ground fault protection?
No. The standard EJB14060 provides thermal magnetic overload and short circuit protection. Ground fault equipment protection requires models with an EPD suffix, which provide a fixed 30mA trip level.
Is the EJB14060 rated for switching duty (SWD)?
No. Under UL 489 standards, the SWD rating for regularly switching fluorescent lighting is only applied to 15A and 20A single pole circuit breakers.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
