This bolt-on MCCB mounts into Square D switchboards and motor control centers. For modern upgrades, it is replaced by the HJL36060 base unit, which requires a separate shunt trip for ground fault functionality. What are the wire size requirements for the line and load terminals?
The factory-installed lugs accommodate a wide range of conductors, accepting 14 AWG through 1/0 AWG copper or aluminum (Cu/Al) wire.
How does the trip unit on the FCJ34060G operate?
It utilizes a thermal-magnetic trip mechanism providing Long-Time (L) protection for overloads and Instantaneous (I) protection for short circuits. Both the thermal and magnetic trip points are fixed and cannot be adjusted in the field.
Does the interrupting capacity change depending on the system voltage?
Yes, the AIC rating scales with the operating voltage. It provides 100kA of fault interruption at 240VAC, but drops to 65kA when applied to 480VAC or 480Y/277VAC systems.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
