Featuring a thermal-magnetic trip unit with long-time and instantaneous (LI) functions, it safely restricts let-through current during short circuits. It features a unit-mount, feed-thru design. It secures directly to the backpan or mounting plate using screws rather than plugging onto a busbar, and connects to the circuit via standard lugs.
What wire sizes are accepted by the lugs on this breaker?
The standard lugs accept copper or aluminum wire ranging from 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG.
Does the interrupting rating change depending on the system voltage?
Yes. This breaker provides a 200kAIC rating at 240VAC and 480VAC, but the interrupting capacity drops to 100kAIC when applied to 600VAC systems.
What does the current-limiting feature of this breaker do?
As a current-limiting breaker with a 200kAIC rating at 480V, it is designed to clear high-level short circuits extremely fast. This reduces the peak let-through current and thermal energy to protect downstream equipment.
Is the FIL36060 still in active production?
The FIL36060 is a legacy F-Frame breaker. For new installations or direct replacements, Square D officially replaces this model with the PowerPact H-Frame HRL36060.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
