Serving older commercial facilities, the Square D A1B380 is an 80A, 3-pole molded case circuit breaker. It provides fixed thermal-magnetic (LI) trip functions to protect 240VAC circuits. This long-body breaker installs into legacy Square D NA1B panelboards using a secure bolt-on style. It accepts 4-1/0 AWG wire. For modern upgrades, this unit is replaced by the QOB380 (requires a retrofit kit). Rated at 10kAIC, it includes a Visi-Trip indicator.Specifications

This breaker is specifically engineered for use in legacy Square D NA1B panelboards found in older commercial and industrial distribution systems.
What is the modern replacement for the obsolete A1B380?
Because the A1B series is discontinued, modern upgrades typically use a Square D QOB380 circuit breaker. Note that installing a QOB breaker into an NA1B panelboard requires a compatible retrofit kit.
How does the A1B380 indicate a tripped condition?
The breaker is equipped with a Visi-Trip indicator. When the breaker trips due to an overcurrent or short circuit, a highly visible red flag appears, allowing for quick fault recognition in the panelboard.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the A1B380?
No, this breaker features fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip functions. The long-time and instantaneous trip settings are factory-set and cannot be adjusted in the field.

Expedited Shipments

Although these breakers are refurbished they work great. It beats having to change the whole panel because of one breaker.
