5 answersWhat is the difference between the Square D QJL, QGL, QDL, and QBL circuit breakers?
These breakers share the same physical dimensions and PowerPacT Q-frame footprint but have different interrupting ratings at 240VAC. The QBL is rated at 10kAIC, QDL at 25kAIC, QGL at 65kAIC, and the QJL provides the highest rating at 100kAIC.
Can the QJL32125 circuit breaker be reverse fed?
Yes. Square D PowerPacT Q-frame thermal magnetic circuit breakers do not have line and load restrictions and can be safely forward or reverse fed.
What type of enclosures accept the QJL32125 breaker?
This unit mount breaker is compatible with Square D individual enclosures designed for 3-pole Q-frame breakers, such as the Q23225NS for indoor NEMA 1 applications or the Q23225NRB for outdoor NEMA 3R applications. It also fits compatible Square D switchboards and panelboards.
Does the QJL32125 replace older Square D circuit breakers?
Yes. The PowerPacT Q-frame series is a direct replacement for legacy Square D Q2 series circuit breakers of the same amperage and pole configuration.
What are the lug torque requirements for the QJL32125?
The standard box lugs accept 4 AWG to 300 kcmil aluminum or copper wire. Always verify with the factory label on the side of the breaker, but these lugs typically require a tightening torque of 248 lb-in (28 N-m).

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
