The EHB34030-1082 is a bolt-on circuit breaker designed exclusively for use in legacy Square D NEHB panelboards. It will not fit NQ, NQOD, NF, or I-Line panelboards.
What does the -1082 suffix indicate on the EHB34030-1082 catalog number?
The -1082 suffix designates that this breaker includes a factory-installed 120-277V AC shunt trip accessory, allowing the breaker to be tripped remotely via a control signal.
Can this breaker be used on a 480V system with a 22kA available fault current?
No. The EHB34030-1082 is rated for a maximum of 14kAIC at 480Y/277V. If your system has a 22kA available fault current at this voltage, you must use a breaker with a higher interrupting rating.
Does the EHB34030-1082 snap onto a DIN rail or plug into the bus?
Neither. This is a bolt-on circuit breaker designed to bolt directly to the busbars of a Square D NEHB panelboard. It is not compatible with DIN rails or plug-on load centers.
Is the EHB series still in active production by Square D?
