The AC suffix indicates the breaker's phase connection on the I-Line bus. It means the line-side jaws are configured to connect specifically to the A and C phases of the panelboard.
Is the Square D FH26040AC still manufactured, or is there a direct replacement?
The FH series is a legacy F-Frame breaker that has been discontinued. The modern replacement is the PowerPact H-Frame series. To match the 25kA at 480V interrupting rating and the AC phase connection, the recommended replacement is the HGA260402.
Can I install the FH26040AC in a standard QO or NQ panelboard?
No. The FH26040AC features an I-Line style plug-in connection and is exclusively designed for use in Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It will not fit in QO, Homeline, NQ, or NF series panels.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
