The HOM115EPD is an Equipment Protection Device (EPD) with a 30mA ground fault trip threshold designed to prevent nuisance tripping on equipment circuits. The HOM115GFI is a Class A GFCI breaker that trips at 6mA to provide personnel protection.
What applications typically require a 30mA EPD breaker?
EPD breakers are used for dedicated equipment circuits that have higher natural leakage current, such as heat trace cables, snow melting mats, and specific motor loads, where a standard Class A GFCI would cause nuisance tripping.
Can the HOM115EPD be installed in a Square D QO panel?

I needed a specific breaker that has a large opening for the wiring. The photos were deceiving and showed what looked like the large opening I need for where the wires go. However, I received the breaker and the opening is the exact same and 2 other breakers I purchased from Home Depot and from Menards. Now I spent another $35 on a breaker I can’t even use. Shopping is outrageously priced, and I tried to return and I literally will have to PAY THEM to return this item. I’m very upset.
