As a current limiting breaker, it clears electrical faults extremely fast. This reduces the let-through energy and peak current during a short circuit, providing enhanced protection for downstream equipment and allowing for a high 200kA interrupting rating at 480VAC.
How is the magnetic trip adjusted on this breaker?
The KIL36225 features an adjustable magnetic trip element in each pole. The trip point can be adjusted between low and high settings using the dial located on the front of the breaker.
Does this breaker mount onto an I-Line bus?
No, the KIL36225 is a unit mount, feed-thru circuit breaker. It requires standard lug connections and is not designed for plug-on I-Line panelboard installations.
Is the KIL36225 still in active production?
The KIL36225 is part of the legacy K-Frame series. For new installations or direct upgrades, it has been superseded by the PowerPact J-Frame series, specifically the JRL36225 model.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
