This unit-mount breaker is designed to bolt directly into legacy Square D switchboards, motor control centers, and standalone enclosures.
Can I use the MHL26800 in an I-Line panelboard?
No. The MHL26800 is a unit-mount breaker with feed-thru lug connections. For I-Line panelboard applications, you will need an MH or MA frame breaker with plug-on line side connections.
Are the trip settings on the MHL26800 adjustable?
The thermal (long-time) trip function is fixed at 800A, but the magnetic (instantaneous) trip function is adjustable to allow for coordination with other protective devices in your system.
What is the difference between the MHL26800 and the MAL26800?
The MHL and MAL are both legacy Square D M-frame circuit breakers, but the MHL features a higher interrupting capacity (65kA at 480V) compared to the standard MAL frame.
Is the MHL26800 still the current production model for this application?
The MHL26800 is a legacy M-frame circuit breaker. For new installations, Square D has transitioned to the PowerPact M-frame series, though the MHL remains available for servicing existing equipment.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
