This Q-Frame breaker fits into Square D individual enclosures such as the Q23225NF, Q23225NS, and Q23225NRB. It can also be installed in NQ panelboards and switchboards when using the correct main breaker adapter kit, such as the NQMB2Q.
What is the recommended lug torque for the QJL32175?
The factory lugs require a tightening torque of 248 lb-in (28 N.m) when using 4 AWG to 300 kcmil aluminum or copper conductors.
Can the QJL32175 be reverse fed in a panelboard?
Yes, Square D PowerPacT Q-Frame thermal magnetic circuit breakers are suitable for both forward and reverse feed applications.
How does the QJL32175 differ from the QDL32175 or QGL32175?
The difference lies in the short circuit interrupting rating. The QJL32175 provides 100kAIC at 240VAC, whereas the QDL32175 is rated for 25kAIC and the QGL32175 is rated for 65kAIC. They share the same physical dimensions and trip characteristics.
Is the QJL32175 a 100 percent rated circuit breaker?
No, this is a standard 80 percent rated breaker. Continuous loads should not exceed 80 percent of its 175A nominal rating.
Does the QJL32175 include a push-to-trip feature for testing?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
