This clip-on breaker is designed exclusively for Square D QO load centers, NQ panelboards, and NQOD panelboards. It will not fit in Square D Homeline panels or load centers from other manufacturers.
What level of ground fault protection does this breaker offer?
It provides Class A ground fault protection, which is designed to trip when a ground fault of 4 to 6 mA is detected. This protects personnel from electrical shock hazards in wet or damp locations.
How is the neutral connection handled on this GFCI breaker?
Standard QO ground fault breakers utilize a coiled white pigtail wire that must be routed and secured directly to the neutral bus bar in the panel for the GFCI circuitry to function correctly.
Does this breaker include a visual trip indicator?
Yes, it features the Square D Visi-Trip indicator. When the breaker trips due to an overload, short circuit, or ground fault, a red indicator window appears and the handle moves to the center position for quick identification.
What type of trip mechanism does this breaker use?
It utilizes a thermal-magnetic trip mechanism. This includes a thermal element for sustained overloads and an instantaneous trip function for rapid response to severe short circuits.
Can this breaker be installed in a plug-on neutral (PON) load center?
While it can physically snap into a plug-on neutral QO panel, this pigtail-style breaker still requires its white neutral wire to be manually terminated to the neutral bar. It does not utilize the plug-on neutral rail connection.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
