Can a shunt trip be added to a standard QOU breaker in the field?
No. Schneider Electric requires shunt trips for QOU series breakers to be factory-installed. You must order the breaker with the correct suffix, such as 1021 for 120 to 240 VAC applications, because field installation is not supported.
Does the 1021 shunt trip affect the physical size of the QOU1101021 breaker?
