No. Siemens phased out the Murray brand in 2020. However, Siemens issued a substitution letter stating that their Type QT tandem breakers, such as the Q2020, are UL-listed direct replacements for Murray Type MH-T breakers like the MP2020.
Can I use the MP2020 in a Siemens load center?
Yes. Siemens and Murray load centers share the same physical bus design, and Siemens has officially cross-listed these breakers for use in both Siemens and Murray panels.
How much panel space does the MP2020 require?
This tandem breaker provides two independent 20-amp circuits while only occupying a single 1-inch space in the load center.
Can the MP2020 be used to power a 240V appliance?
No. This is a tandem breaker that provides two independent 120V circuits from a single bus leg. It does not provide 240V power.
Is the MP2020 a CTL or non-CTL breaker?
The MP2020 is a CTL (Circuit Total Limiting) breaker, meaning it features a rejection clip and can only be installed in panel slots specifically designed to accept tandem breakers. For older panels requiring non-CTL breakers, the MP2020N is the correct version.
Does the MP2020 provide AFCI or GFCI protection?
No. The MP2020 is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker. It provides overload and short-circuit protection but does not include Arc Fault (AFCI) or Ground Fault (GFCI) protection.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
