The MP2020N is a Non-CTL (Circuit Total Limiting) tandem breaker. It does not have a rejection clip, which allows it to be installed in older panels that lack CTL rejection features.
What is the difference between the MP2020 and the MP2020N?
The standard MP2020 is a CTL breaker equipped with a rejection clip for modern panels. The MP2020N is a Non-CTL breaker without a rejection clip, intended strictly for older panels manufactured before 1968.
What is the Siemens equivalent for the Murray MP2020N?
The direct Siemens equivalent is the Q2020NC. Since Siemens acquired Murray, the Q2020NC serves as the exact replacement for the MP2020N in panels approved for Non-CTL breakers.
Can the MP2020N be installed in modern load centers?
No. The MP2020N is designed specifically for older, pre-1968 load centers that do not enforce circuit total limits. Modern panels require CTL breakers, such as the MP2020 or Q2020, which feature a rejection clip.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
