Description
A drop-in replacement for older Zinsco panelboards, the QFP125-2 serves as a dedicated 125A main breaker. It provides essential thermal-magnetic protection for residential and commercial applications. This two-pole plug-on unit installs into existing Zinsco enclosures without requiring aftermarket adapters. It acts as the original equipment equivalent to the modern UBITBFP1252 substitute. This plug-in main breaker is designed exclusively for legacy Zinsco panelboards and load centers configured for QFP-frame main breakers. It will not fit enclosures from other manufacturers.
Can the QFP125-2 be used as a branch breaker?
No. The QFP125-2 is specifically configured as a main breaker to provide primary overcurrent protection for the entire panelboard. It is not designed for branch circuit applications.
Is there a modern aftermarket equivalent for the QFP125-2?
Yes. The Connecticut Electric UBITBFP1252 is an aftermarket substitute designed to replace the original Zinsco QFP125-2 main breaker.
Does the QFP125-2 require a mounting hardware kit?
No. The QFP125-2 utilizes a plug-in connection type that seats directly onto the panel busbars without the need for aftermarket adapters or separate mounting kits.
What should be inspected when installing a replacement Zinsco main breaker?
Legacy Zinsco panels have a documented history of busbar connection issues. Before installing the QFP125-2, a licensed electrician must inspect the panel busbars for any signs of pitting, arcing, or heat damage. If the busbars are compromised, the entire panel may require replacement.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping

Ordered QFP2200T breaker and paid to ship overnight. Reached out to company when breaker did not arrive on time.
