Yes. Following the ABB acquisition of GE Industrial Solutions, the Tmax XT series replaces legacy GE Spectra RMS breakers. The XT1 frame specifically replaces GE Spectra E-frame breakers in ReliaGear and older Spectra panelboards when used with the appropriate retrofit kit.
What type of wire is compatible with the lugs on this 90A XT1 breaker?
The standard lug kit for this frame accepts 10 AWG to 2/0 AWG wire and is rated for both copper (Cu) and aluminum (Al) conductors.
Can this 3-pole breaker be used in DC power systems?
Yes, it is rated for DC applications up to 250VDC with an interrupting capacity of 42kAIC. This makes it suitable for battery backups, solar installations, and industrial DC control panels.
Are the thermal and magnetic trip settings adjustable on this model?
No. This specific XT1 breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic (LI) trip unit. Both the long-time overload and instantaneous short-circuit protection thresholds are factory set for 90 amps and cannot be adjusted in the field.
What panelboards are compatible with this XT1 breaker?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
