The Connecticut Electric UBIP230 is an exact replacement for the obsolete P230 circuit breaker. It is compatible with older ITE, Siemens, Bulldog, and Gould Pushmatic load centers.
Will this breaker fit in a standard modern load center?
No. The UBIP230 is exclusively designed for vintage Pushmatic and Bulldog load centers. It is not compatible with modern panels that accept standard plug-on or bolt-on breakers.
How much panel space does the UBIP230 require?
This 2-pole circuit breaker requires a 1.5-inch space in a compatible Pushmatic load center.
Is the Connecticut Electric UBIP230 safety certified?
Yes. This replacement circuit breaker is Intertek ETL Listed to UL Standard 489 for molded case circuit breakers in the US and Canada.
How do you operate a Pushmatic breaker?
Unlike standard toggle breakers, Pushmatic breakers like the UBIP230 feature a push-button design to manually open and close the circuit. The button also visually indicates whether the breaker is in the ON or OFF position.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
