This quadplex breaker provides four poles of protection but only requires two standard 1-inch spaces in the load center.
Which poles correspond to the 15A and 40A circuits?
The two outer poles provide the independent 15A single-pole circuits, while the two center poles provide the 40A two-pole circuit.
How does the independent trip function work on this breaker?
The outer 15A single-pole circuits operate independently from the inner 40A two-pole circuit. A fault or overload on one of the 15A outer poles will not cause the 40A center circuit to trip.
Does the BQ2402115 require a notched bus bar for installation?
