This breaker is designed exclusively for Eaton and Cutler-Hammer Type CH load centers. It utilizes a 3/4-inch plug-on format and is not compatible with Type BR or other 1-inch panel designs.
What level of ground fault protection does the CH215GFI provide?
It provides 5mA Class A personnel protection. This meets NEC requirements for life safety in wet or damp locations like bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor circuits.
How is the neutral connected on this breaker?
The CH215GFI features a pigtail neutral. The attached white wire must be connected directly to the panel neutral bus bar to power the internal ground fault circuitry.
Does the CH215GFI require a load neutral connection for straight 240V applications?
No. For 240V loads that do not use a neutral, the breaker will still function correctly. The pigtail neutral must be connected to the panel neutral bar to operate the electronics, but a load-side neutral wire is not required.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping

When our main breaker frizzed out, the option we were presented with was replacing the entire panel and service due to the type and part - no longer produced for replacement parts. It would be a $6500 replacement.
We'll likely have to do it at some point but, for now, the replacement breaker we were able to source from Superbreakers (with a $25 warranty) was $5900 less expensive. installation ran a few hundred dollars and the tech said the part looked to be in excellent condition and was prepped for install as he would have hoped.
