Eaton / Cutler-Hammer CHB115 Miniature Circuit Breaker

The CHB115 is a bolt-on breaker engineered specifically for commercial and industrial distribution. It is compatible with Type PB panelboards, Type PH panelboards, meter panels, and multi-metering modules. It will not fit standard residential plug-on load centers.

This breaker utilizes a bolt-on connection. Instead of snapping onto the bus bar, it must be physically bolted to the panelboard bus. This provides a highly secure, vibration-resistant connection typical in commercial applications.

The terminal lugs are rated for both copper and aluminum (Cu/Al) conductors. You can safely use wire gauges ranging from 14 AWG up to 8 AWG, depending on your circuit requirements and local electrical codes.

The LI designation indicates that this thermal magnetic breaker includes both Long-Time and Instantaneous trip functions. The long-time thermal element protects against sustained overloads, while the instantaneous magnetic element trips immediately during a short circuit.
