Are Cutler-Hammer and Eaton EHD3025 breakers the same?
Yes. Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer and manufactures the Series C EHD3025 under the Eaton brand. They are physically and functionally identical and can be used interchangeably in the field.
Can the EHD3025 be used in DC electrical systems?
Yes, this breaker is rated for up to 250VDC with a 10kAIC interrupting capacity. This makes it suitable for specific direct current applications in addition to its standard AC ratings.
Can I replace an EHD3025 with an FD3025 or HFD3025?
Yes, Eaton F-frame breakers like the FD and HFD share the exact same physical dimensions as the EHD series. The FD and HFD models offer higher interrupting ratings. You can safely install a breaker with a higher AIC rating, but you must not downgrade if your system fault current requires the higher rating.

Expedited Shipments
