Is the FDB2100 a direct replacement for older Westinghouse breakers?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Westinghouse distribution equipment line. The Eaton FDB2100 directly replaces the legacy Westinghouse FDB2100, maintaining the exact same physical dimensions and mounting footprint.
What panelboards are compatible with the FDB2100 circuit breaker?
This breaker installs into Eaton and Cutler-Hammer Series C panelboards, specifically the PRL3a and PRL4 models, as well as compatible switchboards and motor control centers.
Is the FDB2100 HACR rated for HVAC equipment?
Yes. All Eaton F-Frame molded case circuit breakers carry an HACR rating, making them suitable for heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration applications.
What is the difference between the FDB2100 and the FD2100 or HFD2100?
The difference is the interrupting capacity. The FDB2100 is the standard tier rated at 14kAIC at 480VAC. The FD2100 is rated at 35kAIC, and the HFD2100 is rated at 65kAIC at 480VAC. All three share the same physical F-Frame footprint.
Where can I find the lug torque specifications for this breaker?
The required torque values for the line and load terminals are printed directly on the circuit breaker nameplate. Always use a calibrated torque wrench during installation to ensure a secure connection.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
