Can the FDC3060L be reverse fed?
Yes. Eaton Series C F-frame thermal-magnetic circuit breakers do not have Line and Load markings and are suitable for reverse feed applications.
How does the FDC3060L differ from the FD3060 and HFD3060?
The difference is the interrupting capacity. The FDC3060L is the ultra-high interrupting tier, rated at 100kAIC at 480VAC. The FD3060 is rated at 35kAIC, and the HFD3060 is rated at 65kAIC at 480VAC. All three share the same physical F-frame footprint.
How should this 3-pole breaker be wired for 250VDC applications?
For 250VDC applications, multiple poles must be wired in series. The specific wiring configuration depends on whether the system is grounded or ungrounded. Consult Eaton F-frame DC wiring diagrams to ensure the correct number of poles break the ungrounded leg of the power supply.
Will the FDC3060L fit in older Westinghouse panelboards?
Yes, Eaton Series C F-frame breakers are direct replacements for legacy Cutler-Hammer and Westinghouse F-frame breakers. They will fit in the same Pow-R-Line C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers.
Is the FDC3060L rated for High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting applications?
No. Eaton Series C F-frame circuit breakers are only rated for HID use in amperages from 10A to 50A. As a 60A breaker, the FDC3060L does not carry the HID rating.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
