The GD3090 is a unit-mount, feed-thru breaker designed for Eaton Series C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers. It mounts directly to a base plate or DIN rail adapter rather than plugging onto a busbar.
Can the GD3090 be reverse fed?
Yes. This breaker does not have line and load restrictions, making it suitable for reverse feed applications.
How must the GD3090 be wired for 250VDC applications?
To achieve the 250VDC rating, Eaton requires wiring two poles in series.
What is the difference between the Eaton GD3090 and the GHC3090?
Both are 90A, 3-pole, unit-mount G-frame breakers. However, the GD3090 offers a higher interrupting capacity of 22 kAIC at 480VAC, while the GHC3090 is rated for 14 kAIC at 480Y/277VAC.
Can I use the GD3090 in place of a GHB3090?
No. While both are 90A G-frame breakers, the GHB3090 is a bolt-on breaker designed specifically for Eaton Pow-R-Line panelboards. The GD3090 is a unit-mount breaker and will not fit bolt-on panelboard chassis.
Does the GD3090 include line and load lugs?
Yes, the GD3090 comes complete with standard line and load side lug terminals installed from the factory.
Is the GD3090 HACR rated?
Yes, this breaker is HACR rated, making it suitable for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
