Although it is a 2-pole breaker, it requires three pole spaces in your panelboard. The factory-installed shunt trip mechanism occupies one additional pole space on the right side of the unit.
Can I install the QBHW2020S in a standard residential load center?
No. This is a bolt-on BAB-frame breaker designed specifically for commercial and industrial Eaton Pow-R-Line 1a and 2a panelboards. It will not fit in standard plug-on residential load centers.
How does the 120V shunt trip function on this breaker?
The integrated shunt trip allows the breaker to be tripped remotely by applying a 120V signal to the shunt trip coil. This is commonly used for emergency stops, fire alarm integration, or remote equipment shutdown.
Does the QBHW2020S accept both copper and aluminum wiring?

Expedited Shipments
