The BRHH220 is designed for use in Eaton Type BR load centers. It is also backward compatible with many legacy Bryant, Westinghouse, and Challenger panels that specify Type BR or Type C breakers.
Can I install the BRHH220 in a Square D or Siemens load center?
No. The BRHH220 is not UL-listed for use in Square D or Siemens panels. It is specifically designed for Eaton Type BR load centers and compatible legacy panels from Bryant, Westinghouse, and Challenger.
What is the difference between Eaton BR, BRH, and BRHH breakers?
The difference is the interrupting capacity. Standard BR breakers are rated at 10kAIC, BRH breakers are rated at 22kAIC, and BRHH breakers like the BRHH220 feature a high interrupting rating of 42kAIC.
Can I replace a BRHH220 with a standard BR220?
A standard BR220 can only be used if your electrical system requires a 10kAIC rating. If your panel or specific application requires a 42kAIC interrupting rating, you must use the BRHH220 to ensure code compliance and proper protection.
Does the BRHH220 require a neutral wire connection?
No. Because the BRHH220 is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker and not a GFCI or AFCI model, it does not require a neutral pigtail or a plug-on neutral connection.
What does the LI trip function on this breaker indicate?
The LI designation stands for Long-Time and Instantaneous trip functions. The Long-Time function protects the circuit against sustained overloads, while the Instantaneous function trips the breaker immediately in the event of a severe short circuit.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
