Yes. The BRX2100 shares the same physical dimensions and plug-on mounting as the standard BR2100 and BRH2100. It can be used as a direct replacement when a higher 65kAIC interrupting rating is required.
What is the difference between Eaton BR, BRH, and BRX circuit breakers?
The prefix indicates the short-circuit interrupting rating. Standard BR breakers are rated at 10kAIC, BRH breakers are rated at 22kAIC, and BRX breakers provide the highest rating at 65kAIC for systems with higher available fault current.
Is the Eaton BRX2100 compatible with older Cutler-Hammer panels?
Yes. Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer and maintained the BR product line. The Eaton BRX2100 is fully backward compatible with legacy Cutler-Hammer Type BR load centers and metering stacks.
How much panel space is required to install the BRX2100?
The BRX2100 is a 2-pole breaker with a 1-inch per pole width. It requires two adjacent 1-inch spaces in a compatible Type BR load center or metering stack.
Does the BRX2100 provide GFCI or AFCI protection?
No. The BRX2100 is a standard thermal-magnetic circuit breaker providing overload and short-circuit protection. It does not include ground fault or arc fault circuitry.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
