This breaker is designed for use in Eaton Series C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers that accept F-Frame bolt-on breakers.
Can I use the FD2020 to replace an FDB2020 or HFD2020?
The FD2020 shares the same physical dimensions as the FDB2020 and HFD2020. It can safely replace an FDB2020 since it has a higher interrupting rating. However, it cannot replace an HFD2020 if your system requires the higher 65kA at 480VAC rating of the H-tier breaker.
What wire sizes are accepted by the lugs on this breaker?
The standard lugs accept copper or aluminum wire ranging from 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG. Ensure proper torque specifications are followed during installation.
Is this breaker suitable for direct current applications?
Yes, it is rated for up to 250VDC with a 10kA interrupting capacity, making it suitable for specific DC control circuits and industrial applications.
Does this breaker include auxiliary switches or shunt trips?
Out of the box, the standard FD2020 does not include internal accessories. Field-installable accessories like shunt trips, undervoltage releases, or auxiliary contacts must be ordered separately and installed according to Eaton guidelines.
What safety precautions should be taken before installing this bolt-on breaker?
Always de-energize the panelboard or switchboard before installation. Verify that the system voltage and available fault current do not exceed the maximum ratings of the breaker.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping

The breaker we purchased was as advertised. The breaker fit perfectly. We purchased reconditioned breaker and it seems to be working properly, accordingly to the golf course maintenance team that supervises the irrigation system.
Next day shipping came quickly even though the 4th of July was coming.
I wish it came with new installations hardware but that isn’t a deal breaker.
