Description
Part of Eaton's Series C line, the FD2060 is a 2-pole, 60A molded case circuit breaker built for industrial power distribution. It features fixed thermal-magnetic trip units for reliable LI protection. This F-Frame unit installs into Eaton panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers. It is eventually replaced by the PDG22G0060TFFJ in newer setups. Rated at 35kAIC at 480V, it handles demanding fault currents. The FD2060 is designed for bolt-on installation in Eaton Series C panelboards, FDPW panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers.
Can the Eaton FD2060 replace a legacy Westinghouse FD2060?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Westinghouse distribution equipment division. The current Eaton or Cutler-Hammer FD2060 is the direct replacement for older Westinghouse breakers sharing the exact same catalog number.
How does the FD2060 differ from the FDB2060 or HFD2060?
The prefix designates the interrupting capacity at 480VAC. The FD2060 provides a standard 35kAIC rating. The FDB series is rated at 14kAIC, the HFD at 65kAIC, and the FDC at 100kAIC. All utilize the same physical Series C F-frame footprint, making them physically interchangeable depending on the required fault current rating.
Is the FD2060 circuit breaker suitable for reverse-feed applications?
Yes. Eaton Series C F-frame thermal magnetic circuit breakers do not have line and load markings, making them suitable for reverse-feed installations.
Is the FD2060 rated for direct current (DC) applications?
Yes. In addition to its AC ratings, this thermal magnetic breaker is UL listed for use on 250VDC systems with an interrupting capacity of 10kAIC.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.

The breaker we purchased was as advertised. The breaker fit perfectly. We purchased reconditioned breaker and it seems to be working properly, accordingly to the golf course maintenance team that supervises the irrigation system.
Next day shipping came quickly even though the 4th of July was coming.
I wish it came with new installations hardware but that isn’t a deal breaker.
