Yes. Eaton Series C F-frame thermal-magnetic circuit breakers, including the FD2175, are suitable for reverse feed applications.
What is the difference between the FD2175 and the HFD2175 or FDC2175?
The difference is the interrupting capacity. The FD2175 is rated at 35kAIC at 480VAC, while the HFD2175 is rated at 65kAIC and the FDC2175 is rated at 100kAIC at 480VAC. All three share the same physical footprint and F-frame dimensions.
Is the FD2175 HACR rated?
Yes. All Eaton Series C F-frame circuit breakers are HACR (Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) rated for use with HVAC equipment.
Can internal accessories like a shunt trip be added to the FD2175?
Internal accessories for Eaton Series C F-frame thermal-magnetic breakers, such as shunt trips and auxiliary switches, must be factory installed to maintain the breaker seal and UL label. They are typically mounted in the left pole.
Are the terminals on the FD2175 interchangeable with newer Eaton breakers?
Yes. The terminals on the Series C F-frame FD2175 are interchangeable with Eaton Power Defense Frame 2 (PD2) circuit breakers.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments

The breaker we purchased was as advertised. The breaker fit perfectly. We purchased reconditioned breaker and it seems to be working properly, accordingly to the golf course maintenance team that supervises the irrigation system.
Next day shipping came quickly even though the 4th of July was coming.
I wish it came with new installations hardware but that isn’t a deal breaker.
