This F-frame molded case circuit breaker is designed for use in Eaton Series C commercial panelboards and switchboards. It is not compatible with standard residential load centers like the BR or CH series.
What is the difference between the HFD2125 and a standard FD2125 breaker?
The 'H' in the HFD prefix indicates a high-interrupting capacity rating. The HFD2125 provides 65kAIC at 480VAC, whereas a standard FD2125 is only rated for 35kAIC at 480VAC.
Can the Eaton HFD2125 replace legacy Westinghouse or Cutler-Hammer models?

No. This specific breaker utilizes a thermal-magnetic trip unit with fixed thermal and fixed magnetic settings. If you require adjustable trip settings, you will need an F-frame breaker with an electronic trip unit, such as an HFDE model.
