This bolt-on breaker is designed for installation in Eaton Series C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers. If you are upgrading to the newer Power Defense PDG2 series, a specific retrofit kit is required.
Are Cutler-Hammer and Eaton ED2150 breakers the same?
Yes. Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer, so breakers labeled under either brand with the ED2150 catalog number are identical in form, fit, and function.
Does the ED2150 come with line and load lugs?
As a standard F-frame breaker, the ED2150 includes standard pressure load terminals (lugs on the load side). Line side connections typically depend on the specific panelboard or switchboard mounting configuration, as the breaker bolts directly to the busbar.
What is the difference between the ED2150, FD2150, and HFD2150 breakers?
While all three are 150A, 2-pole Series C F-frame breakers, they have different voltage and interrupting ratings. The ED2150 is rated up to 240VAC with a 65kAIC rating. The FD2150 and HFD2150 are rated up to 600VAC, with the FD2150 offering 35kAIC at 480VAC and the HFD2150 offering 65kAIC at 480VAC.
What safety precautions should be taken before installing the ED2150?
Always verify that the panel is fully de-energized before installation. Ensure the breaker's 65kAIC rating meets or exceeds the available fault current at the installation point, and torque all lug connections to the manufacturer's specifications to prevent arcing or overheating.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
