This breaker is designed exclusively for Eaton and Cutler-Hammer Type BR load centers. It will not fit in Type CH panels or load centers from other manufacturers.
What is the ground fault trip sensitivity of the GFEP130?
The GFEP130 features a 30mA ground fault trip threshold. This provides equipment-grade protection for industrial machinery and heat trace cables, unlike Class A GFCI breakers which trip at 5mA for personnel protection.
How is the pigtail neutral on the GFEP130 connected during installation?
The coiled white pigtail wire must be routed and secured directly to the neutral bus bar in the load center. This connection is required to power the internal ground fault monitoring circuitry.
What conductor materials are approved for the box lugs on this breaker?
The GFEP130 terminals are rated for both copper (Cu) and aluminum (Al) wire, accepting sizes from 14 AWG to 4 AWG.
Can the Eaton GFEP130 replace an older Cutler-Hammer GFEP130?

No. The GFEP130 is an Equipment Protection Device with a 30mA trip threshold. It does not meet NEC requirements for Class A personnel ground fault protection, which requires a 5mA trip threshold for locations like bathrooms, kitchens, and pools.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
