The Eaton HLD3600F is a 3 Pole thermal magnetic molded case circuit breaker with a current rating of 600 Amps and a voltage rating of 600V. It has an interrupting rating of 65kA@480V. The HLD3600F requires a separate Eaton Series C L-frame trip unit. It accepts both thermal-magnetic trip units, such as the LT series, and electronic Digitrip RMS 310 or 310+ trip units, such as the LES or LS series.
Does the HLD3600F frame come with line and load lugs?
No, this is a frame-only component and is supplied without terminals. Standard line and load lugs, such as AL9CU aluminum or copper terminals, must be purchased separately based on your specific wire size requirements.
Can the HLD3600F be used in DC electrical systems?
Yes, the frame is rated for up to 250 VDC. However, it must be paired with a thermal-magnetic trip unit for DC applications, as Eaton electronic Digitrip units are designed for AC applications only.
Where are internal accessories installed on the HLD3600F?
Internal accessories, such as shunt trips, auxiliary switches, and undervoltage releases, plug into the accessory mounting cavities located inside the breaker frame. They must be installed alongside the trip unit before the breaker is mounted in the panel.
Is the HLD3600F interchangeable with standard LD frames?
The HLD3600F is the high-interrupting capacity version of the standard LD frame. Both are Series C L-frame breakers and share the same physical dimensions, mounting footprint, and trip unit compatibility.
Does the HLD3600F frame provide overcurrent protection out of the box?
No, the HLD3600F is strictly a frame-only component. While it supports LI, LSI, or LSIG protection schemes, it does not provide overcurrent protection on its own. A compatible trip unit must be installed to enable these functions.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
