5 answersCan I use an Eaton LC3600F to replace an older Westinghouse or Cutler-Hammer breaker?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Westinghouse distribution equipment division and integrated it into the Cutler-Hammer product line. The Eaton, Cutler-Hammer, and Westinghouse LC3600F models share the exact same footprint and are direct physical replacements for one another.
What type of electrical equipment accepts the LC3600F?
This unit-mount legacy circuit breaker is designed to bolt directly onto the bus of compatible Westinghouse and Eaton Cutler-Hammer switchboards, panelboards, and motor control centers (MCCs).
Does the LC3600F frame include the required rating plug?
No. This unit is provided as a frame with an integrated solid-state trip unit. A compatible Seltronic rating plug must be sourced and installed separately before the breaker can be placed into service.
How do you set the continuous amperage on the LC3600F?
While the frame has a maximum physical capacity of 600A, the actual continuous current rating is dictated by the Seltronic rating plug installed. You must install a specific plug, such as a 400A (6LC400) or 600A (6LC600), to determine the operating amperage.
Is it safe to remove the rating plug while the LC3600F is closed?
No. If the rating plug is removed from the solid-state trip unit while the circuit breaker is closed, it will immediately cause the breaker to trip. Always de-energize the equipment before servicing the breaker or swapping out rating plugs.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
