Yes, the Power Defense Frame 2 (PDG2) series is the direct replacement for legacy Series C FD and HFD breakers. Note that updated Eaton mounting hardware is required when upgrading from a Series C breaker to a Power Defense model.
Can I use a legacy Series C handle mechanism with this Power Defense breaker?
No. The PDG2 frame has different cover geometry and through-cover accessory panels. Older Series C rotary or flange-mounted handle mechanisms are not compatible with Power Defense breakers.
What type of wire connections does the PDG21M0020TFFL support?
This breaker comes factory-equipped with standard lugs that accept 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG aluminum or copper wire. If your application requires ring terminals or compression lugs, an Eaton end cap kit adapter must be installed separately.

Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
