5 answersCan the PDG22M0030TFFL be used to replace older Eaton Series C circuit breakers?
Yes. The Power Defense Frame 2 (PDG2) series is the direct replacement for legacy Eaton Series C F-Frame breakers, such as the FD, HFD, and FDC series. You will need updated Power Defense mounting hardware for the installation.
Are the lugs on the PDG22M0030TFFL interchangeable with older Series C terminals?
Yes. Power Defense Frame 2 (PDG2) breakers can use legacy Series C F-Frame terminals, and vice versa. This allows for flexible wire termination options during retrofits and panel upgrades.
Is the Eaton PDG22M0030TFFL suitable for reverse-feed applications?
Yes. Standard Power Defense Frame 1 and Frame 2 molded case circuit breakers can be reverse fed. Note that this capability applies to thermal-magnetic breakers but does not apply to motor circuit protectors (MCPs).
Can this 2-pole breaker be utilized in DC voltage systems?
Yes. In addition to standard AC applications, this breaker is rated for use in 250VDC systems, providing a 22 kAIC interrupting capacity for direct current installations.
Does this breaker include the ArcFlash Reduction Maintenance System (ARMS)?
No. The PDG22M0030TFFL is equipped with a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. ARMS technology is only available on Power Defense breakers equipped with advanced Power Xpert Release (PXR) electronic trip units.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
