This Quicklag breaker is designed for front-mounted installations in OEM control panels, custom enclosures, and Eaton panelboards that accept feed-thru, cable-in/cable-out connections.
Will this Eaton breaker replace a legacy Cutler-Hammer QCF1030?
Yes. The modern Eaton QCF1030 is the exact replacement for older Cutler-Hammer branded versions, as they share the identical Quicklag frame and catalog number.
Are the terminal lugs on this breaker rated for aluminum wire?
Yes, the built-in box lugs are dual-rated for both aluminum and copper conductors. They accept wire sizes ranging from 14 AWG up to 4 AWG.
How is the QCF series wired compared to a standard branch breaker?
Unlike standard plug-on or bolt-on breakers that draw power directly from a panel busbar, the QCF series uses a feed-thru, cable-in/cable-out design. Installers must land separate wires on both the line and load side box lugs.
Does the LI trip function on this breaker allow for field adjustments?
No. The long-time and instantaneous thermal-magnetic trip settings on this miniature circuit breaker are permanently fixed and cannot be adjusted.
Is the QCF1030 suitable for HVAC or high-intensity lighting circuits?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
